The Original Patch List Challenge
I'll take you upon this. I like yur ambition and high standards. Suprpised about the warbler though.I'll stick me nech out and go for:Golen PloverGreat grey shrikeandperegrine.A pint says I'll do two of my three before you do any two of yours.
There's a few obvious ones but Cattle Egret is pretty regular in Kent these days and I really should have bagged Melodious Warbler and RB Fly by now.
Well my patch list is relatively immature (unlike me, of course), so there's some real dross still to get.How about Hen Harrier, Red Kite, Ruff, Little Gull, Black Tern, Barn owl, Dipper, Firecrest, Red-backed Shrike, Nuthatch, Long-tailed Tit.Of these, I'll plump for the Kite, Little Gull and, what the heck a Nuthatch!
are nuthatchs getting that far up de country these days? blimey! I just checked and it IS on my scotch list (guessing the hirsel or the like?) but not on me paltry NE list. Would be a MEGA over here, of course!
As for Cotehill...Pallid HarrierSpotted Crakeoh and Tawny Owlall from the house!!!!
Not sure you can count escaped birds...so there goes the red kites
